OUR FOUNDING FATHERS

Bishop Rehmat Daniel the founding father of Church of God in Pakistan was born in a small village of Pakistan in 1942, he was a crane operator by profession until the Lord called him to serve Him. He left that job and went to seminary, he graduated from Full Gospel Assembly Bible college Pakistan in 1968, he worked with the Full Gospel Assembly for the first 10 years of his ministerial career.

 

Church of God in Pakistan was founded in 1976 by Bishop Rehmat Daniel and his father Peter Daniel who was a missionary to Iran and Afghanistan along with  Dr. Lovell.R.Carry Church of God Missions Overseer to Asia.

 

Bishop Rehmat Daniel has raised up and organized over 200 churches for the church of God Pakistan since 1976. As a result of his dedicated labor and the faithful work of many people, Church of God has a voice in almost every city of Pakistan, over 30,000 members attend these churches.

 

Bishop Rehmat Daniel had few health issues, but despite of all that, he continued teaching and preaching the word of God until the very last week of his life, he went to be with the Lord in January 2007, but by the grace of God his sons Bishop Jonathan Rehmat and Joel Rehmat along with many faithful Pastors are carrying on the legacy of their father and grandfather and by the grace of God Church of God is operating in the same way and growing day by day and winning many for the Kingdom of God.
